La Mirandole Primary School is located in Villerest, a little town next to Roanne.
This is in the South-Est part of France in Rhône-Alpes between the cities of Lyon and St Etienne (86km both of them). Our staff is composed by 6 teachers (included the headmaster) and 133 students from 6 to 11. There is also a nursery school for younger children (from 3 to 5).

The school is equipped with the best technologies.  In our school there are students from various nationalities (mostly Turkish immigrants) and also some children with special educational needs.

La Mirandole Primary School wants to participate in this European cooperation project to learn more about culture in other European countries (espacially concerning arts and traditions). It is really important to get experience from schools in other countries to understand and learn their traditions.  The project will give possibility to our teachers to learn different pedagogical methods.  For our students it would be a great experience to make contacts with students from different countries.

Pupils were wearing a special Tee shirt and they sent ballons, hoping our partners would receive something…
